Child Soldiering

Did you know that children are used as human lab rats? There are 300,000 total children at war in 30 countries. They are used to test for land mines, used as messengers, and spies. The worst part of all is that the lowest current age is 7. It is normally an option to go to war, but these children are kidnapped and sent to go to war. Do you see something wrong with that? Well I do and I think that needs to stop.

At the time 300,000 people at war are at an age lower than 18. The least fortunate are used as mine detectors and are killed. There are multiple cruel things are happening to these children such as adults at war placing child soldiers on the frontline while at war because they are “useless” and uncared for. Some children at war may think they’re lucky because they didn’t die as soon but in those eastern parts of the world there is no lucky way out of it. You never get to go home and see your family and even if you would be allowed to you probably would have died before you got the opportunity. What can we do to help?

The lab rats forced into war with no rights and cruelly treated. There is an international child welfare organization that helps children in need, and you can join if you want to help. A child soldier named Charles was scared of dying. If commoners found out, he would be killed then and there. So he went to war and for what? To be killed because just like all of the other children, he was scared.
